News Round-up: Kaley Cuoco, GL in Orlando, Hayden

Did CBS derail Cuoco's GREY'S gig?
It appears the case of Kaley Cuoco's disappearing GREY'S ANATOMY guest stint has been cracked!

Although the actress' rep says an unforeseen "publicity commitment" forced the BIG BANG THEORY star to back out of a top-secret appearance on GREY'S ANATOMY May 14 season finale, multiple sources now tell Michael Ausiello that it was her current employer, CBS, that put the kibosh on the deal.

Opponents: SAG could lose vote
Opponents of SAG's tentative feature-primetime deal have declared that guild members will vote the pact down -- as long as the turnout rate's higher than the traditional 30%.

"The more people that we can get to vote, the better chance we have to get this voted down," said Scott Wilson, organizer of a last-minute antiratification rally Thursday. "I think we have a real chance to defeat this if we can get the information out to the members."

Don't Miss: GUIDING LIGHT episodes shot at Universal
Central Florida plays a supporting role in upcoming episodes of GUIDING LIGHT. The show's cast and crew taped across Universal Orlando, and those scenes will be seen during seven episodes on CBS starting April 24. The cast taped scenes in Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Universal CityWalk and at the Royal Pacific resort.

Hayden Panettiere's house was burglarized
Hayden Panettiere's (ex-Lizzie, GL) Los Angeles home was burglarized over the weekend, police sources told TMZ.com. The officials told the celebrity gossip site that Panettiere returned from a vacation April 15 to discover about $15,000 in jewelry missing.

Gemma's painful HOLLYOAKS return
Gemma Bissix has claimed she suffered more bruises filming her comeback scenes in Hollyoaks than during her time on DANCING ON ICE. The 25-year-old actress, who returns as Clare Devine on the Chester-based soap in May, said: "I was absolutely covered in bruises the day after we were filming the main scenes. I had do a stunt where I fell over and I've got a bruise the size of a saucer on my leg at the moment, it's ridiculous."

Y&R's Heinle and Luckinbill on their GHOST WHISPERER roles
“Both shows air on CBS, so they just gave us the parts without an audition, but I feel sorry for Thad,” Heinle says with a laugh. “Even when he lands a nighttime role, he can’t get away from me!”

“It wasn’t all that realistic,” notes Luckinbill, but he’s not referring to the woo-woo plot. “My character’s trailer was one of those superstar mobile homes like Tom Cruise and Will Smith get when they make a movie. That would never happen on a soap!"
