Daytime Nielsen Ratings Week of March 2-6, 2009

From the ABC ratings release:
* Daytime's No. 1 network for the second week in a row in Women 18-34 (1.0 rating/349,000 - tie), ABC's lineup recorded its largest weekly delivery in the key young demo in 18 months - since week of 9/17/07.

* In Women 18-49 (1.4 rating/917,000), ABC notched its second week at the No. 1 post, surpassing NBC by 8% (1.3 rating/891,000) and CBS by 17% (1.2 rating/798,000).

* Monday's THE VIEW, featuring a "Day of Hot Topics," stood as the show's most-watched telecast in over a year in Women 18-34 (545,000 - since 1/21/08), and in four months in Women 18-49 (1.39 million - since 11/5/08).

* Powered by Monday's show, this week qualified as THE VIEW's most-watched week in nearly 2 years in Women 18-49 (1.10 million - since week of 5/28/07), and in four months in Women 18-34 (423,000 - since week of 11/24/08).

* In Women 18-49, ABC ranked all programs among Daytime's Top 5: "The View" (No. 2 - 1.7 rating/1.10 million), GENERAL HOSPITAL (No. 3 - 1.4 rating/910,000), ALL MY CHILDREN (No 5T - 1.2 rating/828,000) and ONE LIFE TO LIVE (No. 5T - 1.2 rating/826,000).

* In Women 18-34, ABC owned 3 of the week's Top 5 programs in Daytime: THE VIEW (No. 1T - 1.2 rating/423,000), GENERAL HOSPITAL (No. 3T - 1.0 rating/350,000) and ALL MY CHILDREN (No. 3T - 1.0 rating/323,000).
