`OLTL' soundtrack is in tune with its fansNew York Times

NEW YORK - "Tina is overwhelmed when Bill Medley and Darlene Love sing 'Soul and Inspiration' at her bridal shower."
That's part of the story line so far of ONE LIFE TO LIVE, a daytime soap opera that regularly incorporates pop songs and pop singers and now has a soundtrack album, "ONE LIFE TO LIVE: The Best of Love" (SBK Records/ERG).
Some of the show's fans have been calling the ABC television network to find out who sings such songs as "I Still Believe In You," Luna and Max's theme song, and "Teach Me How to Dream," the musical centerpiece to Marty and Suede's romance. The singers are Cliff Richard and Chris Walker, in that order.
The album includes those songs as well as duets by Howard Hewitt and Brenda Russell, and Michael McDonald and Amy Holland. Jerry Butler, Stephanie Mills, Wendy Moten and Billy Dean also are there.
