"Rosie's Gala, Building Dreams for Kids," a one-night-only benefit for Rosie's Kids, was held last night at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. Proceeds will benefit Rosie's For All Kids Foundation and Rosie's Broadway Kids.
The evening paid tribute to Tony Award winner Chita Rivera.
The sensational Linda Dano (ANOTHER WORLD, ONE LIFE TO LIVE and many more) was on hand to lend her support. On her website, Dano says: "You all know that I love Rosie and have tried to support all her efforts to help disadvantaged children. Through, Rosie's For All Kids, she has helped to set up Cutie Patootie childcare centers in low-income urban areas across the country and RBKids, an arts education organization, offers free musical theater programs for NYC's neediest public school students."
