DNC: Daytime Legend Deidra Hall, Party Officials Talk Equal Pay, Economy in Johnstown today
Today at 1:30 p.m. at Central Park in Johnstown, DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Deidre Hall, who plays Dr. Marlena Evans on the long running hit series, joined local officials to discuss the reasons she supports Barack Obama -- principally among them Obama's support for equal pay for women. In addition, Pennsylvania Democratic Party officials discussed the differences between John McCain's and Barack Obama's approaches to the economy.

DAYS' Sweeney on BONNIE HUNT SHOW
DAYS's Alison Sweeney (Sami) will appear on Monday's THE BONNIE HUNT SHOW to announce an opportunity for one lucky fan of the talk show: a trip to Los Angeles to be a BONNIE HUNT correspondent at the "Day of Days" event at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood on Saturday, November 1. The special correspondent will get to interview all the stars from DAYS be a guest on Hunt's show. Viewers can log on to bonniehunt.com beginning Monday to enter the contest and get official rules.

Former OLTL star Nathan Fillion is featured in the first episode of a SPIKE TV sponsored web series called JAMES GUNN'S PG PORN. The tongue-in-cheek comic shorts pair a mainstream actor and an adult industry star in "some nice clean smut."

UK TV Soap’s Gay Snog Raises Hackles... But Only a Few
In the Oct. 7 episode of EASTENDERS, Christian (played by John Partridge) and Lee (played by Carl Ferguson) were seen sharing a snog in a park by local gossip Dot (portrayed by June Brown). 150 viewers complained about the same-sex smooch.

Susan Lucci dines out with husband, dance partner
Word has it that soap star-turned-dance contestant Susan Lucci threw an intimate birthday party for her husband (Hubert Huber) at Stresa in Manhasset this Wednesday night.

According to restaurant co-owner Giorgio Merrigi, Lucci’s DANCING WITH THE STARS partner Tony Dovolani, was at the table-for-eight. Dovolani dined on steak “a la King.” Hubby Huber ate baby chicken and Lucci (ever the svelte starlet) chose a chopped salad followed by boneless breast of chicken grilled with wild mushrooms on top. Very little sauce.

The meal concluded with chocolate souffle (the star of ALL MY CHILDREN took a tiny taste) and a big fruit platter. That, she allowed herself to nosh on.

EMMERDALE knocks EASTENDERS to 5.5m
EASTENDERS lost out yet again in another head-to-head clash with EMMERDALE on Tuesday night.

An hour-long edition of the ITV1 soap was the most-watched program of the day, with 6.52m (31.3%) in the 7pm hour. EASTENDERS, which began half an hour later, drew just 5.53m (25.6%) over 30 minutes. During the head-to-head period, ITV1 was comfortably out in front with an average of 6.34m (29.3%).
