But there’s a curious trend emerging this summer, and I’m not sure what to make of it. A few shows have gone beyond revisiting history — they actually seem to be reliving the stories in a way we haven’t really seen before."

He admitted his true fear — that their baby could end up like his mum. Hasn’t he forgotten something even more worrying? The baby could end up like him — a fate far worse, I’m sure.
But, of course, after all the drama he made it just in time to tie the knot when Ronnie burst through the church doors at the 11th hour with some scandalous news to shock the congregation. Is this really original? I think not. I want to know, why does it have to be the same old thing every time we have a wedding in soap land? I can’t wait for a glitch-free fairytale wedding. It will make such a nice change."
