Model career about to hit a bump on Y&R
Jabot's hottest young model is pregnant on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, but her biggest problem next week will be telling her dad. "Lily is in L.A. doing a photo shoot and she calls him," says Christel Khalil, who plays the expectant Lily. "She says, 'Can we meet for dinner?' Then she says, 'Oh, no. Let's have lunch,' because she can't wait any longer. They go to the G.C.A.C. and she tells him."

Daddy's reaction? "He's shocked," says Khalil. "He's like, 'Oh my gosh. My baby girl is pregnant.' He's not angry. Just extremely disappointed." Neil is even more shocked when Lily confides her plans.

Kate Linder gets star on Walk of Fame
26 years after being cast to say "Dinner is served" on the CBS soap opera THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, Kate Linder received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Linder told fans gathered for the ceremony Thursday she was waiting to board a plane when she heard the news. "I stopped breathing and started crying," Linder said. "The captain of the plane then went on to announce after takeoff that I was getting my star and the flight passengers applauded."

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa attended the event and told the crowd, "Los Angeles is a place where dreams come true."

SECRET TALENTS canceled - world won't see Josh Morrow juggle
SECRETE TALENTS OF THE STARS premiered on April 8 and was quickly canceled after one miserably rated episode. The program was hosted by former THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS star John O’Hurley and featured sixteen celebrities who were meant to compete against each other in order to determine who has the best unknown talent. Among the celebrities whose secret talents will remain secret are Joshua Morrow from Y&R, whose secret talent apparently is rock-n-roll juggling.

Tonya Pinkins to star in new play in L.A.
Tonya Pinkins (ALL MY CHILDREN, AS THE WORLD TURNS) and Tracie Thoms star in The Fountain Theatre's production of And Her Hair Went With Her, Zina Camblin's play about African-American sisterhood and identity. Diane Rodriguez directs the six-week Los Angeles run, as part of the National New Play Network initiative, April 25-June 15 at The Fountain Theatre. The opening is May 9.

Ex-OLTLer Routh to play Dylan Dog
Brandon Routh, star of Superman Returns and formerly of ONE LIFE TO LIVE, is Dylan Dog in Dead of Night, the first film about this detective produced in Hollywood. The Italian cartoon Dylan Dog, in fact, after years of false starts, is finally getting its movie version produced in North America, and will be shot in Toronto in July. The script will be written by Thomas Dean Donnell and Joshua Oppenheimer, who also wrote Mandrake and the upcoming remake of Conan the Barbarian.

DePaiva's celebrate the Deafness Research Foundation
The Deafness Research Foundation (DRF) is hosting a special 50th Anniversary Celebration to recognize a half century of achievements in hearing health and research, and to inaugurate the organization's commitment to future endeavors. ONE TO LIVE LIVE star Kassie DePaiva and her husband Jim (ex-Max) are part of the host committee.

HOLLYOAKS' abuse storyline praised
Fans of glossy soap HOLLYOAK will be well aware that although the serial looks pretty, it's not afraid of tackling thorny issues. The latest storyline involving newlywed Nancy (Jessica Fox) and her abusive husband Jake (Kevin Sacre) has caught the attention of Tender, a charity which aims to promote positive relationships within the under 25s. A spokesman told Digital Spy: "As a national platform, Hollyoaks played a vital role in educating the public about the issue of abusive relationships."
