This year's recipient of The Linda Dano Heart Award is Cameron Mathison. A Board Member for over 10 years, Linda Dano presents the award annually to an individual or group in the Entertainment Industry who exemplifies a commitment to improving the lives of children.
HeartShare Human Services of New York has Past recipients include Rosie O'Donnell, Susan Lucci, Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie on behalf of THE VIEW, John Edward.

HeartShare, founded in 1914, is a comprehensive New York based Human Services Agency whose programs assist over 17,000 children, families, and adults. HeartShare raises funds and administers foster care and adoption programs, community-based family service centers, youth services, school-based beacon programs, and services for children and adults affected by HIV / AIDS and those with developmental disabilities.
HeartShare has a continuum of services that include early childhood centers, group homes, supportive apartments, adult day treatment, habilitation services, case management and family supportive services. Approximately 90% of all of HeartShare’s revenues go directly to program services.
