Evening News

Marlena De Lacroix: Douglas Marland: A Personal Remembrance.

Entertainment Weekly: Soap Watch: Breaking news on ATWT's plans for the Luke and Noah love story, OLTL launches Kristen Alderson's (Starr) teen sex blog, Ricky Paull Goldin on his move to AMC, and more.

AfterElton: Best. Gay. Week. Ever. "[an unnamed close to the show] source says that folks can stop fretting that ATWT are going to wash their hands of Nuke entirely as both Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann are sticking around. No word on the kissing though, so if that is your prerequisite for watching then I'm not sure what to tell you. As for me, I'm sticking with it despite yesterday's incredibly lame cutaway. BTW, a big round of applause to the fan groups that brought world wide attention to Nuke. It was truly amazing to see the story covered by the Associated Press, the BBC and most every news outlet here in the U.S."

Radar Online: To better prepare for those rather intimate scenes with her LIPSTICK JUNGLE hottie house-husband Paul Blackthorne, actress Brooke Shields has been applying shoot-stopping doses of sunshine-in-a-bottle, according to LIPSTICK guest star and current NYC party-hopper Leven Rambin. "Brooke was self-tanning every day to get ready for some sex scenes," the alabaster ALL MY CHILDREN regular told reporters Thursday night at the Do Something Annual Gala in midtown Manhattan. "They kept delaying the scenes because she was so orange!" added Rambin, who recently portrayed a drunk, jailed starlet on LJ, a sort of Lindsay/Britney/Paris/Nicole hybrid. She closed the subject with some advice: "This is why I don't use self-tanner! You get past the point where it's hard to take it back." Are you catching all this, Brooke?

Bridgeton News: When Millville native Justin Trout went to Hollywood late last year, his interests were geared toward music and achieving his dream of becoming a music producer. He wasn't expecting to be bit by the acting bug. Trout, 24, will be appearing on the March 26 episode of the CBS soap opera THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, which is taped in California. While music is still his top priority, Trout, who now lives in West Hollywood, said he enjoyed his brief stint on the soap opera, and would do it again if asked. "I've played music all my life," he said Thursday. "I'm not an actor, but everyone (at Y&R) was professional and really nice. There wasn't a huge hierarchy."

The Sun: It's game on lads! Sexy Gemma Atkinson from HOLLYOAKS has revealed she likes nothing better than working up a sweat beating the blokes on her Nintendo Wii.

Soap Opera Digest: LAS VEGAS was cancelled, which has sparked speculation that Vanessa Marcil might return to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Brenda. Her former on-screen love Maurice Benard likes the idea, "I'm all for it," he tells Soap Opera Digest in the March 18 issue, which hits stands Tuesday.

Daytime Confidential: GENERAL HOSPITAL scoops and spoilers.

All3Media: VIDEO: John Paul sings Kieron's praises to Hannah on HOLLYOAKS, but will a few crossed wires and Kieron's lack of trust mean an end to their relationship?
