In case you missed it on CBS-TV's coverage of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, "Guiding Light" star Gina Tognoni announced her engagement on the air. She said she was picking out jeans and asked boyfriend Joe, "Will this fit?" and he pulled out the ring and asked her if this (the ring) would fit. She said she would change her last name to Chiarello once married. Tognoni won Miss Rhode Island Teen USA in 1991 and Miss Rhode Island Teen All-American in 1993. In 1995, she was cast as Kelly Cramer on "One Life to Live", a role she originated and portrayed to 2001.
Marcy Rylan and Mandy Bruno also appeared later on the CBS telecast.
