Now, they are Max Crumm and Laura Osnes, but come June they will become Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski.
The two young artists were chosen by NBC viewers of the reality show “Grease: You're the One That I Want,” which debuted in January 2007. Winners Max, from the Phoenix suburb of Ahwatukee and Laura, from Eagan, Minnesota, will star in the Broadway revival of “Grease.”
Max beat out Austin Miller, a veteran of the NBC soap opera “Days of Our Lives” for the part of Danny Zuko. Laura won the female lead role of Sandy Dumbrowski, over Ashley Spencer.
