arguing again. 1986: Ryan's Hope's& Rick wanted more time with
Ryan. 1995: One Life to Live's Viki remembered Tori killed
Victor. 2003: As the World Turns' Rose D'Angelo died.

On this date in...

1957: On The Edge of Night, Ed Parmalee (Les Damon) confessed his guilt to Mike Karr (John Larkin) about stabbing Bruce Thompson in the back.

1967: On The Doctors, Dr. Matt Powers (James Pritchett) interrupted the latest heated argument between Dr. Nick Bellini (Gerald Gordon) and Dr. John Rice (Terry Kiser).

1970: Actress Carolyn Craig, who played Cynthia Allison in General Hospital, died at age 36. Her death was attributed to a gunshot wound, and a possible suicide, but little is known about exactly what happened.

1972: Mike Hammett debuted as Dennis Carrington in Another World.

1979: On As the World Turns, Bennett Hadley (Doug Higgins) gave Lisa Colman (Eileen Fulton) a copy of his novel which included a special message for Lisa in the last paragraph: "And so it was Lisa who finally taught me what love and Loving are all about. Like her laughter, she'll always be in my memory, and wherever I go and whatever I do that's worthwhile in my lifetime, it will be because she once loved me."



1979: On Another World, Jeff (Dan Hamilton) tried to force Iris (Beverlee McKinsey) to swallow pills.

1979: On Guiding Light, Mike Bauer (Don Stewart) was unhappy when his daughter, Hope (Elvera Roussel), told him she was engaged to Alan Spaulding (Christopher Bernau).  Note: The role of Christina Bauer was played in this episode by Jillian Ross.

1979: On The Edge of Night, Geraldine Whitney (Lois Kibbee) named Jamey Swift (James Noseworthy) her beneficiary.



1984: On Search for Tomorrow, Brett Hamilton (Brett Porter) invited Justine Calvert (Leslie Stevens) to the "Murder With Merriment" party.

1984: On Days of our Lives, Alice Horton (Frances Reid) advised her granddaughter, Hope Williams (Kristian Alfonso), to give Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) time to come around.

1986: On Ryan's Hope, Rick Hyde (Grant Show) was frustrated by the busy schedule of his wife, Ryan Fenelli Hyde (Yasmine Bleeth).

1988: On Loving, Stacey (Lauren-Marie Taylor) battled for custody of her son.

1990: Heather Tom debuted as Victoria Newman on The Young and the Restless.

1995: On One Life to Live, Viki Buchanan (Erika Slezak) confessed that her alter, Tori, had killed Victor Lord and not Dorian Lord (Robin Strassser).



2003: On As the World Turns, Rose D'Angelo (Martha Byrne) died after asking Paul (Roger Howarth), "Why did you do this to me?"



2007: On As the World Turns, Emma Snyder (Kathleen Widdoes) invited Noah Mayer (Jake Silbermann) to the farm for Christmas.
