Teresa Castillo on Leaving 'General Hospital' as Sabrina Santiago: "Four Years is Just the Right Amount of Time"

Teresa Castillo
Teresa Castillo knew for a while that her General Hospital character, Sabrina Santiago, was going to be murdered.

"Frank [Valentini, executive producer] called me into his office about two-and-a-half months ago," she told Soap Opera Digest. "It was at the end of the day and he said, 'They’ve decided to kill Sabrina.' It was definitely bittersweet."

Sabrina was murdered by Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) earlier this week.

"I think four years is just the right amount of time," the actress says about her time on GH.

  8. I watched today's episode, sitting watching Paul's flashback of how he killed Sabrina, made me miss her. Michael said it well, you have no closure. She was an excellent character.
