Sunday Night Ratings: 'Revenge', "Resurrection' Up

Resurrection was up 5% over last week and 11% over Revenge in the
same time slot last year.
The Sunday night Nielsen Fast Affiliate Ratings are in. Check out a round of network reports below:

From ABC:
ABC Sunday Prime (7-11 p.m. - 6.4 million and 1.7/5 in AD18-49): ABC won its 2nd consecutive Sunday of the May Sweep in Adults 18-49 (1.7/5). ABC's Once Upon a Time and Resurrection once again finished as Sunday's Top 2 broadcast dramas with young adults.

· Posting its 2nd week of year-to-year gains, ABC was the only broadcaster up from the year-ago May Sweep Sunday (5.8 million and 1.6/5 on 5/5/13) in 10% in Total Viewers (+10%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%).

Once Upon a Time (8-9 p.m. - 6.7 million and 2.0/6 in AD18-49): Growing from its Adult 18-49 lead-in by 25% at 8pm, ABC's Once Upon a Time (2.0/6) finished a strong second in its hour, leading CBS' Amazing Race by 18% (1.7/5) and NBC's Dateline by 100% (1.0/3). The ABC drama continued its run as the #1 most social broadcast series on Sunday night with 48,252 tweets, up 17% from the prior week. Once Upon a Time paced within 1-tenth of its week-ago Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 rating, with the show adjusting up 1-tenth in the National ratings.

Resurrection (9-10 p.m. - 7.9 million and 2.0/6 in AD18-49): At 9 p.m., ABC's season finale of Resurrection dominated its regular broadcast competition in the hour for its 8th consecutive telecast in Adults 18-49 (2.0/6), outdelivering Fox's Cosmos by 25% (1.6/5) and CBS' The Good Wife by 67% (1.2/3), while doubling NBC's Believe (+100% - 1.0/3). Resurrection drew its biggest audience in 4 weeks (2nd telecast of growth - since 4/6/14) and gained 5% week to week in Adults 18-49. In addition, the new ABC drama grew week to week in Men 18-49 (+21%) and Men 25-54 (+10%) to deliver 5-week highs - since 3/30/14.

· On average during its first season, Resurrection improved its time period by 85% among Adults 18-49 over the comparable weeks last season (3.7/10 vs. 2.0/5), making it ABC's highest-rated program in the Sunday 9pm hour since Desperate Housewives - since the 2011-12 season.

Revenge (10-11 p.m. - 5.0 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49): During the 10pm hour, ABC's Revenge ranked as the #1 series in its slot for the 2nd straight week among Adults 18-49, over CBS' The Mentalist (1.2/4) and NBC's Crisis (1.0/3). The ABC drama was up 1-tenth from its week-ago Fast Affiliate Rating in Adults 18-49 (going up 1-tenth in the Nationals) and grew to 5-week highs in key Women (W18-49/W25-54).

· Revenge improved its hour from the same night last year by 47% in Total Viewers (5.0 million vs. 3.4 million) and by 63% in Adults 18-49 (1.3/4 vs. 0.8/2).

Sunday Results:

· "Crisis" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) maintained its 18-49 rating week to week and is matching its top rating since April 13 (1.1). In the time slot, "Crisis" is running within 0.3 of a rating point of #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 (1.0 vs. a 1.3 for ABC's "Revenge"). "Crisis" retained 100% of its adult 18-49 lead-in. L+7 Time-Shifting: "Crisis" originals this season are increasing by an average +58% in 18-49 rating from their L+SD results to L+7 (to a 1.89 from a 1.20) and growing by 2.4 million persons in total viewers (7.3 million vs. 4.9 million).

· "Believe" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) equaled its adult 18-49 rating of the prior week. In a highly competitive time period that includes ABC's "Resurrection," Fox's "Cosmos," CBS's "The Good Wife" and HBO's "Game of Thrones," "Believe" retained 100% of its adult 18-49 lead-in. L+7 Time-Shifting: "Believe" originals are growing this season by an average of +72% in 18-49 rating from their L+SD results to L+7 (to a 1.99 from a 1.16) and increasing by 2.7 million persons in total viewers (7.7 million vs. 5.0 million).

· "Dateline NBC" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) maintained its 18-49 rating week to week and is matching NBC's top rating in the slot since March 9. "Dateline" built on its lead-in by +100% in adults 18-49 and 149% or 2.2 million persons in total viewers.

· "American Dream Builders" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall from 7-8 p.m. ET. "American Dream Builders" grew from its first half-hour to its second in all key adult-female demographics.
