1967: On ANOTHER WORLD, Pat (Susan Trustman) introduced Rachel (Robin Strasser) to Liz (Audra Lindley).

1979: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Steve shot "Tobias" which save Paige (Margaret) in the nick of time. Tobias turned out to be Jed in disguise.

1984: In New Orleans, Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) made love for the first time on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

1984: On GUIDING LIGHT, H.B. (Larry Gates) told Josh (Robert Newman) he would never trust him again after Josh pulled "a sneaky move" with Reva (Kim Zimmer). The staff at Cedars gave Bert (Charita Bauer) a surprise party when she was released from the hospital nearly three months after her leg was amputated.

1985: On RYAN'S HOPE, the judge gave D.J. (Christian Slater) a suspended sentence.

1987: On SANTA BARBARA, Jane (Jane Sibbett) and Gina (Robin Mattson) got into a fight.

1995: On ONE LIFE TO LIVE, at the hospital Max (James DePaiva) begged Luna (Susan Batten) to hold on after she had been shot in Angel Square.

1997: Indian soap opera AMANAT premiered on Zee TV.

1998: On ALL MY CHILDREN, Marian (Jennifer Bassey) was trapped in the crypt.

2000: Kyle Lowder debuted as Brady Black in DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

2007: On PASSIONS, Sheridan (McKenzie Westmore) was shocked when she opened her cottage door, expecting Luis, and found Vincent (Phillip Jeanmarie).

2010: Actress Nancy Dolman, who played Annie Selig in SOAP, died at age 57.

  1. I am not going to lie. I miss Passions!

    1. I have to admit I wasn't on board with Passions for a long time because my Another World cancellation bitterness but took hold. But watching a lot of the episodes again now for this column, and some for the first time, I really appreciate it much more.
