RESOLVED: Statement from Prospect Park/TOLN and the I.A.T.S.E. New York Production Locals Regarding Resolution of Dispute

Today Prospect Park and the I.A.T.S.E. New York Production Locals 52, 161, 600, 700, 764, 798 and USA829 are pleased to announce that the two parties have resolved issues related to the production of ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE to their mutual satisfaction. As a result production of both series will resume, as planned following the shows' hiatus, on August 12, 2013.

Speaking on behalf of the New York Production Locals, Local 600 Representative David Blake stated, “We are pleased that that the parties were able to successfully address their concerns in a mutually beneficial way, which will enable these innovative shows to continue to be produced with our talented crews.”

"We thank the entire I.A.T.S.E. organization for their continued support in bringing these shows to fans, and we especially appreciate the efforts of Chaim Kantor and John Ford and our entire crew for helping us to move forward as a unified team," said Jeff Kwatinetz.

New episodes of both series are being produced by Prospect Park and The OnLine Network. ONE LIFE TO LIVE debuted on ABC in 1968, and ALL MY CHILDREN debuted on ABC in 1970. The shows were created by Agnes Nixon, and each ran for more than 40 years, until 2011. Both series have won numerous Daytime Emmys, and have earned hundreds of nominations in various categories. TOLN brought the shows back on April 29, 2013 and audiences can still log into HULU and iTunes to catch brand new episodes Mondays through Thursdays on HULU and iTunes.

  10. Thanks Prospect Park! Fantastic news! I have been a huge fan of OLTL since the summer of 1988. I have also become a new fan of AMC since April 29, 2013. I subscribed to HuluPlus just so that I would be able to watch both shows in HD and in surround sound too. Looking forward to production on both shows resuming on August 12, 2013!!

  11. Prospect Park has done enough damage, i.e., not compromising with ABC to keep Roger Howarth, Michael Easton and Kristen Alderson as Todd, McBain and Starr. Not only wouldn't they compromise, they are suing ABC! I was very excited about the returns of AMC and OLTL, but am not liking the shows. They are just not the same. Many of the former and best characters haven't returned :-(
