Clay Allan, a former jazz musician takes a job teaching music at a local disadvantaged high school after his divorce.  Discovering one young man’s musical talent on the trumpet and his need of a father figure, he is inspired to mentor him and start a band to help keep the school open. Through the journey of leading a school band, Clay reconnects with his own estranged son, becoming the father he always wanted to be.

Desiree Banner may own her own record company but she has struggled to find her perfect melody since leaving the band she once headlined with her brothers Mitchell and Johnny. After a hiatus that deeply damaged Desiree and Mitchell’s relationship, the siblings reunite in their hometown of Pinewood to take care of their mother, Rosalind, who has suffered a heart attack. Rosalind, however, has ulterior motives for bringing her children together: she hopes that a Fourth of July reunion concert of The Banners Project will save their hometown from bankruptcy. As Desiree attempts to work with her brothers to conjure up a long-term solution to Pinewood’s financial crisis, she must face her past mistakes head on, including the bad blood with Mitchell.  As the Fourth of July approaches, it is up to Desiree and her siblings to put into action a plan that will save Pinewood Hills.  In order for The Banners Project to help their beloved hometown recover from hard financial times, they must put their family feud aside and find harmony both on and offstage.

When a single mom and her lonely only daughter decide to adopt a dog after moving to a new town, they are surprised when a handsome pro baseball player comes knocking on their door, claiming the dog is rightfully his.  Agreeing to share custody, the couple clashes over raising the unruly pup, but are soon falling for each other.
“Puppy Love” is part of Hallmark Channel’s Pet Project, an initiative dedicated to saving homeless pets through adoption.

‘MR. HOCKEY: THE GORDIE HOWE STORY’

Together with sons Mark and Marty and the support of his wife Colleen, Gordie relocates his family and returns to the rink to play professional hockey with the Houston Aeros. Though many skeptics label this as “the biggest publicity stunt in hockey history,” Gordie proves his critics wrong and attempts to accomplish the unthinkable of playing professional hockey and winning a championship with his sons. When Tom Burns loses his job at advertising agency Rage because he isn’t young or “hip” enough, he enlists the help of youthful con-man Dick Sweeney to pose as a copywriter. While Tom does all of the hard work behind the scenes, Dick presents Tom’s ideas and campaigns to Rage with his innate charm and youthful attitude.  The scheme works until Tom falls for Dick’s co-worker Harriet and Dick falls for Tom’s daughter Kelly, complicating their personal lives and threatening their working arrangement. As Tom and Dick lie to both women to protect themselves, their lies ultimately take a toll on their relationships and they must decide if their scheme is worth the paycheck.
