"Hey guys, u know how much u mean 2 me and I wanted u 2 hear it from me," Reeves wrote. "I was let go from GH today and my last day should b in Feb sometime."
Reeves has played Dr. Steven "Steve" Lars Webber on GENERAL HOSPITAL since December 2009. There's no word yet on how the Reeves will be written out of the show, or if there are any plans to recast the role.
GENERAL HOSPITAL will celebrate its 50th anniversary in April.

Boring character anyway...zero chemistry between him and Olivia...good call GH!
can't say i'll miss him...wish he'd take Olivia with him. If GH needs some Hardy family members, how about recasting Sarah Webber (get it right this time though lol), Tom Hardy (how about snatching Matthew Ashford who played the role last?) and little Tommy by now should almost a teenager! And if at all possible bring Audrey (Rachel Ames) out of retirement, even if just recurring, so we can see Audrey now and then again.
Meh. Steven Lars was always secondary.

as long as they bring back Jeff and Audrey (not be just Liz to represent the Hardys) for the 50th. Steven had no story without heather. She actually made steven worth watching. Also would love for Tom and Tommy back. Tommy is about Maxie's age.
I hate to see any of my GH family leave...I love them all whether they have a small part or whether they are off for several days. They all play an important part of making GH the best soap ever!!!!! Scott, your part as Steve will be missed a lot. God has another door to open for you. Much love to you and your family.
I've said all along that they should have given Scott a better storyline. Also, they should have contacted his GH Father, Richard Dean Anderson (ex-Jeff Webber). They share a striking resemblance and that would have made for a great story!

Margo, I talked with Rebecca Herbst about Richard Dean Anderson this week but never made the connection about the resemblance between him and Scott. Great point!
