Brian Austin Green Lawsuit Against Ex Vanessa Marcil Dismissed
The new daddy, who with wife Megan Fox confirmed on Wednesday that they'd welcomed son Noah Shannon, was dealt a legal blow after a Los Angeles Superior Court judge last Monday tossed out his lawsuit against ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil over purported unpaid loans.

According to published reports, Green had been seeking $200,000 from his former ladylove, with whom he has a 10-year-old son, but Judge Barbara Meiers ruled that the actor's statute of limitations had run out.

Are you damaging your child?
Dr. Faye Snyder writes that she “would rather live under a bridge before I put my child in day care”. Her son, Scott Clifton, recently won a Daytime Emmy for his role in the long-running soap THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. “He’s ethical, humble, inspired,” she says. “Children who are parented well often have a kind of charisma and it’s delightful to be around them, and he has that.”

Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Think of Another Slogan
Understandable protestations from FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHT's Peter Berg non-withstanding, the Mitt Romney campaign continues full steam ahead—or the equivalent football behavior—with its stolen slogan, “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, America Can’t Lose.” The Washington Post reports: “On Sunday, the candidate orchestrated a flag football game between his staff and reporters who follow his campaign. The team captains were given rubber bracelets with the slogan on them. Now the campaign is selling the bracelets online; a $10 dollar donation gets you a red, white and blue set.” The timing is really sort of perfect, as space for rubber-bracelets recently freed up on America’s wrists.

CBS' THE TALK Sued by Author Claiming She Pitched Similar Motherhood Show
In 2006, Angela Wilder, an author and the ex-wife of Los Angeles Lakers Hall of Famer James Worthy, created a treatment called "The Mothers' Hood," which she registered with the WGA. The idea was to create a TV show for mothers to watch and feel like someone was listening to their day-to-day problems and issues.

Wilder says that she used her industry contacts in 2008 to set up a pitch meeting with Holly Jacobs, executive vp reality and syndication programming at Sony Television. Jacobs rejected her pitch, purportedly telling her that "stay-at-home mothers are a depressed group of people who would have absolutely no interest in watching a show about their own depressing lives," according to the suit.
