I assume Katie Couric's show is taking GH's traditional timeslot, but what died; the Revolution or the Chew?
The Revolution got canceled in the spring. It was a ratings disaster of epic proportions. ABC has aired reruns of it and brought on a nine-week temporary show, Good Afternoon America, ever since. But as of Sept. 10, GH moves to that timeslot, where OLTL used to be. The Chew hasn't been a breakthrough hit but had solid enough ratings for ABC to keep them around (for now). Katie's show sounds incredibly bland so I'll be curious to see how that does. Katie is syndicated but airs mostly on ABC stations (but not only ABC around the country).
WOW! GH hasn't has a decent action Location shoot (the Carnival in 2010 doesn't count, it was on the ABC Lot) since Puerto Rico in 1994!
