1967: DARK SHADOWS aired in color for the first time. On the episode, directed by Lela Swift, Barnabas decided that Maggie Evans (Kathryn Leigh Scott) must die!

1979: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Steve and Deborah recalled happier times.



2009: Amanda Setton debuted on ONE LIFE TO LIVE as Kimberly.

While it was One Life to Live's redefining the issues that soaps covered and people featured that hooked me on the genre for life, the reason that I ended up watching OLTL's first episode was because I was one of millions of grade school and Jr. High kids rushing home every day to watch Dark Shadows.

  2. Susan Olsen (THE BRADY BUNCH) is 50(!) today. She also appeared on Y&R as Liza Morton in 2010.
