Leyden played womanizing crook Simon Frasier on AS THE WORLD TURNS from 2000-2004, with several appearances afterward. His good looks plus irresistable finesse made him a fan favorite from the start, and his pairing with Katie (Teri Colombino) is one of the most beloved stories of the past ten years. He shared many scenes and a brief romance with Carly (Maura West). Will we see more scenes with Leyden and West in Genoa City? Stay tuned.

ReplyDeleteDoes Y&R really need another NEW cast member? I mean really. I don't want Y&R to get anymore new cast members. I don't want any more GL or ATWT stars. Enough with the madness. We just got Melody Thomas Scott back on the frontburner and now you go and cast another person. I'm sure Jeanne Cooper won't be happy about this.

R U kidding me? ANOTHER rehire from a programme daytime viewers have already rejected, hence their cancellation? Isn't it bad enough Y&R has become AMC 2.0, a mere shell of its former self with attractive people who are also talented? This current crowd of new hires, with the exception of Billy Miller, and that includes that pompous azz MM, bring absolutely NOTHING to the Show! In the meantime, Vets like Krstoff and Ms Cooper are allowed to rot among the old stars most people are too young to remember or to care about and these new fools. FIRE MAB & CO. NOW!!!
