Executives with a New Hampshire-based television studio say residents in Portsmouth and Dover can expect to see their hometowns featured as the backdrops in a new soap opera.
MyTV Senior Marketing Manager Christopher Murphy said a new soap opera called PROPER MANORS is set to begin filming in August and will be produced in the Granite State as part of an ongoing effort to bring more television and acting jobs to the New England region.
"The goal is to have these shows be developed here and my goal is to have New Hampshire put on the map," Murphy said.
Shooting for PROPER MANORS is set to take place in August, with the show kicking off on Sept. 14 and running on Tuesday's at noon.
New soaps are being developed for the web and television all the time. Stay tuned!
