COMMENTS FROM THE JUDGES PANEL:
Jonathan Reiner: The feisty redhead broke my heart when B.J. died and Bobbie and Tony donated her heart to Maxie.

Alan Carter: GH letting her sit on the sidelines so long should be considered a criminal act. There would have been no real drama with Scotty and Laura if the one-time bad girl hadn't been SOOOO good at being bad. Ditto, as Lana McClain the murdered nurse on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Jackie apparently tired of always being the bad girl...too bad. When she was bad, she was great.

Damon L. Jacobs: Jacklyn Zeman's portrayal of Bobbie Spencer eloquently conveyed the light and hope that soap operas can give.  By witnessing her cope with domestic violence and the tragic loss of a young child, millions of women and men were provided with inspiration to face the hardships and challenges in their own lives.  Rarely has an actress become so emblematic for hope, courage, and resilience.

COMMENTS FROM CO-STARS/CO-WORKERS/INDUSTRY:
Kin Shriner: (who acted opposite Zeman on GH) I just hung the phone with her 20 minutes ago! She's still a friend, still a pal. I would do anything for her.

INTERVIEW ARCHIVE:
We Love Soaps published a personal and revealing five-part interview with Zeman in October 2009.

  1. I have always been a huge Jacklyn Zeman fan and Bobbie has always been my favorite role of hers. I still fondly remember Bobbie and Scotty and Bobbie and Tony not to mention Bobbie and the Brownstone. There was a time where the brownstone seemed to be the place to go and that was thanks to bobbie. i miss those days they really should use her more ften.
