CBS SUNDAY MORNING featured a segment on GUIDING LIGHT earlier today, "GUIDING LIGHT Fades After 72 Years."
"The show had been on the chopping block for 15 years," Ellen Wheeler, the show's executive producer, told CBS News Correspondent Richard Schlesinger. "We said, 'We're going to have to do this show for 35 percent less money. We're already doing it for less than anyone else. What can we do?'"

Surprisingly good segment. Doesn't make me forgive CBS any though.
