1968: Dark Shadows' Angelique appeared to Barnabas in a dream.
1986: Santa Barbara's Pearl remembered his name under hypnosis.
2002: Passions' Sheridan came face to face with Luis.
2008: As the World Turns' Luke and Noah shared a kiss.

1968: On Dark Shadows, Angelique Bouchard Collins (Lara Parker) appeared to Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) in a dream and told him that he could not escape her or her revenge. She warned him to beware of dreams, as that is the way the curse would return to him.



1971: Actor House Jameson died at age 68. During his career, Jameson played roles in Another World, The Edge of Night and Dark Shadows. He was featured earlier this year in Retro TV's 1968 reruns of The Doctors in the role Nathan Bunker.

1981: On General Hospital, Alan (Stuart Damon) told Susan that he wanted to update his will.



1984: On Days of our Lives, Diane Parker (DeAnna Robbins) wasn't happy to see her pimp, Nick Corelli (George Jenesky, now known as Conrad Dunn) at Shenanigans.

1984: On The Edge of Night, LK Pendleton murdered Tess McAdams (Carrie Armstrong).



1985: On Guiding Light, while being held captive by Floyd, India managed to record over Phillip's taped confession.



1986: On Santa Barbara, Pearl (Robert Thaler) revealed his real name while under hypnosis: Michael Baldwin Bradford III.

1990: ITV daytime soap opera Families premiered. Created by Kay Mellor, the show ran until August 24, 1994.



1990: On The Young and the Restless, as he left the country Brock (Beau Kazer) felt something wasn't right about his mother, Katherine (Jeanne Cooper).

1992: Longtime Days of our Lives producer Jack Herzberg died at age 75.

2002: On Passions, Luis (Galen Gering) and Sheridan (Mackenzie Westmore) came face to face at the masquerade ball.

2006: Actress Susan Browning died at age 60. She played roles in Love is a Many Splendored Thing, One Life to Live and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.

2007: CBS aired the 13,000th episode of As the World Turns.



2008: On As the World Turns, Luke (Van Hansis) and Noah (Jake Silbermann) shared their first kiss in seven months, which officially ended the "kissing ban" that was mandated by Procter & Gamble.



2009: ABC began broadcasting General Hospital in high definition.
