Emmy winning Let's Make a Deal host and comedian Wayne Brady is joining the cast of CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in the series regular role of Dr. Buckingham.Dr. Buckingham is Zoe's (Kiara Barnes) father, a worldly, intelligent, and sophisticated man who quickly finds himself entangled in a web of passion and mystery after joining a Los Angeles-area hospital.
According to EW.com, Brady caught the attention of head writer Bradley Bell last month while visiting his 15-year-old daughter, Maile Brady, who was making her debut on the show. Brady told Bell that he watched B&B growing up and would love the chance to join in on the fun.
Brady's acting credits include How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, In the Heat of the Night and Girlfriends.
Brady will tape his first episode on Friday, and is scheduled to make his B&B debut on November 30.
