1957: On The Edge of Night, Billy (Pud Flanagan) asked Mary (Anne Sargent) and Roger (Allan Nourse) Harper to legally adopt him.
1963: General Hospital introduced a new opening sequence.
1969: On The Doctors, Dr. Nick Bellini (Gerald Gordon) clashed with Dr. Steve Aldrich (David O'Brien) after Nick's wife, Althea, walked out on him. Meanwhile, the staff at Hope Memorial showed nurse Carolee Simpson (Carolee Campbell) with gifts as she prepared to begin her new job.
1969: On Dark Shadows, a mysterious stranger (Dennis Patrick) introduced himself to Carolyn (Nancy Barrett) as her father, Paul Stoddard.
1976: On Another World, after Therese Lamonte's funeral, Mac Cory (Douglass Watson) accused daughter, Iris (Beverly McKinsey), of harassing Clarice Hobson. Mac told Iris to leave Clarice alone or he would use the taped confession against her.
1978: On Dallas, Ray Krebbs (Steve Kanaly) fell for country singer Garnet McGee (guest star Kate Mulgrew), who rejected his marriage proposal to focus on her career. Garnet slept with J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman) to get a record deal, and when a heartbroken Ray discovered her infidelity, he ended their relationship for good.
1979: On As the World Turns, Hester Pierce (Ann Stanchfield) visited her brother, Martin, in the hospital His doctor told him Martin was now able to say two words: "Bennett" and "Seller" (really meaning cellar).
1979: On Guiding Light, Holly Thorpe (Maureen Garrett) underwent hypnosis to help her remember what happened when her husband, Roger (Michael Zaslow), was shot. Visiting her mother in Bluefield, Rita Bauer (Lenore Kasdorf) decided again having an abortion.
1984: On Days of our Lives, when Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) returned to the beach where he found his brother's "dead" body, Roman (Wayne Northrop) was no longer there.
1985: On Ryan's Hope, Frank Ryan was disappointed when his true love, Jillian Coleridge (Nancy Addison), couldn't remember him.
1987: On Another World, a captive Cass Winthrop (Stephen Schnetzer) came face-to-face with his evil lookalike, Rex Allingham, who was pretending to be Cass and about to marry Nicole Love (Anne Marie Howard). Later, Nicole heard Rex fighting with his lover, Monique Berajacques (Tracy Kolis), and saw him push Monique to her death.
1993: On The Young and the Restless, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) asked Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) about the time Victor spent on the farm.
1996: On Guiding Light, while on her deathbed Sarah Shayne (Audrey Peters ) confessed to her daughter, Reva (Kim Zimmer), that she had another child she had kept secret from the family.
1999: On Passions, Tabitha Lenox (Juliet Mills) made sure the torch used on a tied-up Charity Standish (Molly Stanton) had real fire on it.
2008: On One Life to Live, Viki Buchanan (Erika Slezak) had a meltdown Victor's crypt.
2013: Actor Tony Musante, who played Rose's father Joe D'Angelo on As the World Turns, died at age 77.
