On why Ridge is chasing after Brooke when he is supposedly happy with her sister, Katie (Heather Tom):
Ridge doesn't like sharing toys. Not now. Not ever. He still wants what's best for Brooke, and Bill certainly ain't it. Also, Ridge is now in possession of that selfie Quinn [Rena Sofer] took of her and Bill having sex.
On Katie's reaction to Ridge chasing after Brooke:
Why would she put up with her man flying halfway across the world to stop a woman he's supposedly over from getting on with her life? [Laughs] I don't blame Katie for being pissed!
The United Arab Emirates scenes will air May 23 through June 3.

As much as I enjoy B&B these days, I wish the stories weren't told at break-neck speeds. I do enjoy the Brooke-Bill-Katie-Ridge quad, however, I wish Katie/Ridge weren't so rushed. I can't root for Katie/Ridge because their romance has already accelerated to "love" and an engagement with no real development. Still, I look forward to seeing the location shots. I thought Hope/Liam's Italian wedding was gorgeous. B&B manages to be the best looking soap on the air while the other soaps look particularly cheap...what happened to Y&R's production value?
ReplyDeleteI got hot and cold on Thorsten Kaye as Ridge. I have never been a fan of the actor but he does seem to fit quite nicely as Ridge (to my surprise!) His Ridge is pompous, judgmental, fickle and selfish and TK sells the hell out of it!
I don't like the new Ridge, however he has always been fickle becuz he loves Brooke bottom line.
