Ashlyn Pearce has joined the cast of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL in the role of Alexandria Forrester.Alexandria is Thorne's (Winsor Harmon) daughter with the late Darla. Born in 2004, the character will now be aged.
"What a good way to start the day!" Pearce tweeted when the news broke. "Finally being able to say I'll be playing Aly Forrester on The Bold & the Beautiful!"
The show has been looking to cast a 19- to 21-year-old Caucasian actress to play the character described as "Beautiful. Well bred. Very upscale."
Pearce is set to make her BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL debut in mid-November.

Is this role contract? Are they casting any other roles as well? I thought that they were going to recast Karen Spencer and bring in another male character. Am I correct?
