1920: Future ANOTHER WORLD star Dolph Sweet (Gil McGowan) was born. He died in 1985.

1934: Darlene Conley, remembered by soap fans from her many years as Sally Sprectra on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, was born. Before that she played babynapping Rose DeVille on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and stole Nina's baby. Conley also had roles on DAYS, GH and CAPITOL. She died January 14, 2007.

1941: Radio soap opera LIFE BEGINS aired its final episode.

1986: Chris Hughes died in his sleep on AS THE WORLD TURNS. Watch Bob tell Kim and Lisa here.

1988: ANOTHER WORLD debuted a rock instrumental theme during the end credits.

2010: Actor Larry Keith, best known for his role as Nick Davis on ALL MY CHILDREN, died at age 79.
