There is still time to see Keith Bunin’s "The Busy World is Hushed," which opened October 2 and runs through Sunday, October 17th. The play stars GENERAL HOSPITAL's Jason Thompson, Carolyn Hennesy and Nathan Parsons. We've heard from fans that Parsons in particular gives an "energetic," "incredible" and "star-making" performance. If you've seen it, let us know what you think.
In the story, Hannah, an Episcopal minister and theological scholar, finds her faith at odds with that of Thomas, her estranged, wayward son. When an inquisitive young writer hired to assist Hannah with her latest publication learns painful family secrets from their past, Brandt becomes the catalyst Hannah hopes will provide a reconciliation with her son. With wisdom, humor, and insight "The Busy World is Hushed" examines the contradictions we find in our faith, our families, and ourselves.
"The Busy World is Hushed" is directed by Crystal Craft ("The Boys Next Door," "Bent," "Eyes for Consuela" & "Danny and The Deep Blue Sea").
