TV Guide Magazine is reporting that former YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and DAYS OF OUR LIVES producer Ed Scott is joining the production team of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Scott will replace supervising producer Rhonda Friedman who "will be working more closely with Brad Bell in a managerial position."Elsewhere, former 90210 hunk Adam Gregory is replacing Emmy winner Drew Tyler Bell in the role of Thomas Forrester. He debuts on September 22.

ReplyDeleteYes, he did Robb. I'm still a bit baffled and puzzled by the casting shocker. Of course, Brad Bell is still saying that Drew Tyler Bell has no relation to the Bell family dynasty. Nonetheless, this was a surprise move. The other thing that was a very pleasant surprise was B&B snagging up former Y&R and DOOL executive producer Ed Scott. I say with those two additions, Brad Bell may start gunning for Emmy # 3 for Best Drama Series. Ed Scott is one of the most brilliant minds when it comes to producing. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens when the new Thomas starts airing and when Ed Scott's producing of the show also starts airing as well.
