1st ANNUAL KATE LINDER CELEBRITY CHARITY GALA TO BENEFIT THE ALS ASSOCIATION GREATER LOS ANGELES CHAPTERWHO: Kate Linder (Esther Valentine of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS) will host the 1st Annual Celebrity Charity Gala to benefit The ALS Association Greater Los Angeles Chapter. Linder has been the national celebrity spokesperson for The ALS Association for five years since her brother-in-law was diagnosed with the disease. Linder travels to Washington, DC to lobby Congress for more funds to find a cure for the disease each May.
The event is an Emerging Magazine Celebrity Production. Joining her will be YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS castmates Wilson Bethel (Ryder Callahan), Thom Bierdz (Phillip Chancellor III), Hayley Erin (Abby Carlton), Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), Stacy Haiduk (Emily Peterson/Patty Williams), Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell), Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe), Vanessa Marano (Eden), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers Newman), and Yvonne Zima (Daisy). Other celebrities include Alison Arngrim (LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE), Channing Chase (MAD MEN), Romi Dames (HANNAH MONTANA), Bruce Davison (Longtime Companion), actress Ilene Graff, actress Q'orianka Kilcher, RJ Mitte (BREAKING BAD), actress Lorielle New, Julie Newmar (Catwoman on BATMAN), comedian Rip Taylor and actress Dee Wallace.
WHAT: Cocktail reception, gourmet celebrity dinner, live auction and a product runway featuring celebrities working it while showcasing exciting products and services on the runway. The night was created to raise funds to treat and find a cure for ALS.
