I wouldn't get too exicited over this development just yet - probably not until we hear there's another gay guy on the canvas for Rafe to interact with.
Afterall, Y&R did this same kind of ''comic stunt'' years ago when Christine & Paul tried to play matchmaker for Nina and Lynne and unbeknowst to Cricket she set her girlfriends up with two guys who were actually a gay couple (Troy & Dean). That development went nowhere and was played as a joke, with all involved having a good laugh after Troy & Dean left the party.
The one positive thing about this so far is at least the Rafe character has been regular-recurring and is being played by a fine actor with a resume.
Oh good Lord...
ReplyDeleteFinally! Y&R has always been known for it's diversity. It will be interesting to see how they handle this storyline.
ReplyDeleteWell it's about time....
ReplyDeleteWell, let's hope they give him an actual storyline, and preferably a romance with all the extravagance that Y&R is known for.
ReplyDeleteThis is a big step for Y&R. I think they are going to do a good job with this.
