CORONATION STREET saves six-year-old boy and his mum from burning flat
A boy of six saved his mother from their blazing home - after seeing it done the night before on CORONATION STREET. Brave Jaydon Layton heard the smoke alarm and rushed to wake mum Debbie, 28.

The youngster, who had watched Monday's episode of the ITV1 soap in which Peter Barlow was saved by his son Simon, screamed: "Mummy, Mummy, I don't want to die, it's like CORONATION STREET."

Dano knows plenty about how to live well. The 1,100-square-foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op that she and her late husband Frank Attardi bought in 2002 boasts a wraparound terrace that blooms with life come spring.

"I love the outdoor space," Dano says. "I'm a gardener, and I've planted the terrace. I'm out there a lot. Friends come over, and we have dinner out there. There's a gazebo; I grow clematis over it. You could get married out there."

HOLLYOAKS star Kent Riley drops in to school
Kent Riley went to St Gregory’s Primary, Lydiate, and Maricourt High School in Maghull. The actor, who plays Scouser Zak Ramsey in the soap, said: “I didn’t have a bad time in school or anything, it was just left for time outside to develop those skills and luckily I fell into acting. I’ve got a really strong storyline coming up in Hollyoaks and I’m contracted until December so I’m just concentrating on that at the moment.”
