Gloria Loring was surrounded by friends and family last night as she launched her new "TV Tunez Tonight" show at Hollywood's Music Box Theater.
The show was made up of TV theme songs, several of which Loring has written. The best known may be THE FACTS OF LIFE theme. She covered some 70 pieces of material in 85 minutes in the show, including HIGHWAY PATROL, SUPER CHICKEN, GOOD TIMES, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, BONANZA and DANIEL BOONE.
Former DAYS OF OUR LIVES cast mate Bill Hayes was on hand. He was the original voice on DAVY CROCKETT.
Also lending their voices to the evening were Loring's former husband, Alan Thicke (ex-Rich, B&B), and son, pop artist Robin Thicke.
