Kettering’s Sherri Saum (1993 Fairmont High School grad), now a successful actress in Los Angeles, is heading back to New York — she’s been cast in a regular role as a psychiatric patient on HBO’s IN TREATMENT. The drama stars Gabriel Byrne as a psychoanalyst; the second season is scheduled to begin sometime in 2009.
Saum, maybe best known for her role in the late ’90s SUNSET BEACH, recently had a recurring role in FX’s RESCUE ME. She is married to ONE LIFE TO LIVE star Kamar de los Reyes.

HOLLYOAKS band to release singleCharacters from the Channel 4 series HOLLYOAKS are about to release a single in a bid to make the official UK top 40. The Dirty Diegos features Josh Ashworth on lead guitar, singer Michaela McQueen, Sasha Valentine on keyboards and Amy Barnes on drums. The group’s single, "Play," is due to be released on 24 November.
The band will be seen performing the track during an episode of E4’s spin-off, HOLLYOAKS - LATER, which is also due to start next month.
HOLLYOAKS actor to perform Kings Of Leon track
Hollyoaks actor Gerard McCarthy has recorded a special Celtic version of the Kings Of Leon song "Use Somebody" for the soap's late-night spinoff episodes HOLLYOAKS - LATER, Digital Spy has revealed.
The 27-year-old, who plays bisexual cross dresser Kris Fisher in the Channel 4 show, was handed the number to tie in with his on-screen brother Malachy's (Glen Wallace) wedding to Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe).
