You may have noticed that the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards process is due to commence a little later than in previous years. We are developing a new, paperless online entry system, Daytime Online, which will be available soon. It will better guide the entrant through the process, alert entrant and team members of entry status and keep everyone apprised of related deadlines and offer any other necessary communication. Please check back at the Daytime Entertainment Emmy homepage soon for the link to Daytime Online.
How does the Daytime Online system work?
A link from the Daytime Entertainment Emmy homepage will take you directly to a registration page. There, you will create a personalized ‘account’, a password-protected place you can visit and revisit at any time during the entire awards process. You may visit this account as many times as you need as you build your entry or entries. When you are satisfied that you have completed all necessary entry information, you will click a final submit button which will electronically send your submission(s) to the Daytime Entertainment Emmy administration. You will receive an email confirmation for each entry, however you may still log in afterwards to view and refer anytime to your entry or entries. Despite the fact that we will be conducting a large portion of the Emmy process online, you will still be able to speak directly to someone at the Daytime office, should you need assistance.
New for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy process this year!
ALL entries for ALL genres, both programs and crafts will be viewed and judged. When entering the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards this year, we are asking for DVDs to accompany the entries. Now would be a good time to begin planning and preparing your DVD submissions. The general deadline date for entries and DVD submissions will be January 7, 2008.
Daytime Judging & Membership
In order to be a judge for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, be sure to take the time now to sign up or renew your membership with either NATAS or ATAS. Note: The requirement of Academy membership is separate and apart from registering to become a judge with the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. The deadline to register with the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards to become a judge is January 7, 2008. Check back at this page soon in order to find the link for judge’s registration.
