PREVIEW: ABC Family Tuesday Night Soaps PRETTY LITTLE LIARS & THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING

All of the lies finally take a toll on one of the Liars with dangerous results in “Save The Date,” an all-new episode of ABC Family’s hit original series PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, premiering Tuesday, August 2 (8:00 – 9:00 p.m. ET/PT).

Emily has been juggling a lot of secrets and lies lately, and with a surprise visit from her father before a big swim meet, the pressure gets to be too much for her - sending her to the hospital. But with the prospect of having to come clean to her father about Danby, Emily realizes she has bigger problems when “A” reveals his/her part in Emily's swim career.

While visiting Emily, Spencer and Aria take the opportunity to try and do more digging around about the cause of Alison's death and how the broken field hockey stick may play a part in the last few moments of their friend's life.

Meanwhile, Hanna struggles with the prospect of losing both men in her life when her father's wedding "Save the Date" arrives, and the possibility of Caleb running out of Rosewood before his past can come back to haunt him.

“Pretty Little Liars” is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick and Leslie Morgenstein. The series stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Holly Marie Combs, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Laura Leighton, Chad Lowe, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse.

Tension in the King household is at an all-time high due to Meredith’s increasing frustration with Chloe’s penchant for secrecy. Aware that her relationship with her mother is suffering, Chloe must decide whether she will finally confess her biggest secret to the most important person in her life in an all-new episode of THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING premiering Tuesday, August 2 (9:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC Family.

Given Chloe’s strange behavior as of late, Meredith is not happy when Chloe is escorted home by the police after trying to stop a late-night robbery. A concerned Meredith searches Chloe’s laptop, looking for insight into her daughter’s life. However, Meredith is unprepared by what she finds, knowing the information will change her life forever.

Meanwhile, although Chloe has a deeper connection with Alek than she cares to admit, she also can’t deny her feelings for Brian. But when Chloe unintentionally hurts both guys, neither one of them want anything to do with her. When the late-night robber puts the King women in danger, Chloe must do everything to protect her mother and she reaches out to someone she has come to rely on. Will Alek put his personal feelings aside to help Chloe before it’s too late, or is this one battle Chloe will have to fight on her own?

THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING is executive-produced by Dan Berendsen and John Ziffren with Alloy Entertainment’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. The drama is based on the book series “The Nine Lives of Chloe King” by Liz Braswell.
