Why didn...Mimi Torchin makes some good points here. Why didn't ABC consider changing how the soaps are aired? If All My Children and One Life to Live are too expensive now, why not make AMC and OLTL a half hour long instead of an hour? Why not change the schedule, like airing one soap three times a week and another twice a week? Or why can't they look into raising revenue through other methods, like charging for internet streaming or overseas sales?
