Tks!
I remember that first scene on Days where "Cissy" showed up in Tony's appartment. I have very fond memories of her days as Cissy Mitchell on Search.
I would have enjoyed hearing her thoughts about her time on SFT and what it was like to work on that show with such a talented cast as Marie Cheatham, Marcia McCabe, Doug Stevenson, Rod Arrants and three actresses we loved and lost Sherry Mathis, Nikki Goulet and Mary Stuart.Jubahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04494390605589033658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2585163331194032530.post-59030200253787730342009-07-09T12:41:15.541-04:002009-07-09T12:41:15.541-04:00I have often wondered if a good tool for transcrib...I have often wondered if a good tool for transcribing is to listen to the playback of the interview in one ear, and repeat it back (ideally simultaneously) into a voice recognition program like Dragon Naturally Speaking, which is trained on your own voice.

Then, the resulting transcript would be "typed" for you, albeit with errors.

I have personally been thinking about looking into this solution for some work-related transcriptions we need to do...I think it might work and save a lot of time on typing. It might also work to ask someone like Nelson Branco if he has any shortcuts for dealing with the typing thing.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17786080894058246344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2585163331194032530.post-35659781805999142892009-07-09T11:48:33.548-04:002009-07-09T11:48:33.548-04:00Thank you MarkH for appreciating the time and effo...Thank you MarkH for appreciating the time and effort it takes to transcribe. I think audio works better for some and text for others and I want to make sure we reach as many people as possible.Roger Newcomb (We Love Soaps)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02714900181367233527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2585163331194032530.post-61684971451938957202009-07-09T09:31:01.006-04:002009-07-09T09:31:01.006-04:00Let me say that I, for one, am praising the heaven...Let me say that I, for one, am praising the heavens for your transcript. I know these are a pain in the *** to type up, but man does it make them more accessible.

I think I am surprised at what a salty iconoclast she comes across as.

I never really watched Days, but I remember her mesmerizing performance on SFT. I'd love it if, in some future interview, you could talk more about that. Although so much time has passed, she may not even remember much from those days.

And LMAO at her initial compliment on the physiques of her interviewers :-). I have NEVER seen that in a soap interview before!!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17786080894058246344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2585163331194032530.post-60283900256107337402009-07-08T23:55:53.918-04:002009-07-08T23:55:53.918-04:00Great job, Damon.
