1955: On Hawkins Falls, reporter Mitch Fredericks (Jim Bannon) and Millie Flagle (Ros Twohey) persuaded the biggest donor to the town's fair, Andy Anderson, that he had psychic powers. Once Andy was convinced of his abilities, Mitch got him to predict that Hawkins Falls would become a booming industrial city, with the intention of printing a story quoting Andy's predictions. Mitch believed he could fulfill the prophecy by publishing it, thus bringing interest and future success to Hawkins Falls.
1969: On Dark Shadows, Barnabas (Jonathan Frid) discovered Dirk outside, and claimed Jamison was missing.
1977: On Ryan's Hope, Maeve (Helen Gallagher) urged Jack (Michael Levin) to reconsider the annulment. Father McShane refused to answer the chancery letter until Jack had his bypass surgery, buying Mary (Kate Mulgrew) more time. Refusing to allow the situation to get the best of him, Jack vowed to have surgery right away.
1980: Mark Tapscott aired for the final time as Bob Anderson in Days of our Lives. Tapscott died in 1993 at age 68 after a battle with lung cancer.
1983: On Guiding Light, Silas (Benjamin Hendrickson) held Quint (Michael Tylo) at gunpoint while they were trapped in a cave.

1984: On The Edge of Night, Sky Whitney (Larkin Malloy) was determined to take on Logan Swift (Tom Tammi).
1984: On Dynasty, Dex (Michael Nader) was angry with Alexis over her dealings with Rashid Ahmed.
1985: On Knots Landing, Karen refused to sell Knots Landing Motors since it was Sid's dream for Eric and Michael, but they told her it wasn't their dream.
1986: Rob Estes made his first appearance as Glenn Gallagher in Days of our Lives.
1988: On General Hospital, Tom (David Wallace) was granted bail.
1989: On As the World Turns, Shannon (Margaret Reed) received a disturbing phone call.
1991: On Another World, Donna Love (Anna Stuart) arrived at the free clinic to begin her community service.
1997: The City, a spin-off of Loving, aired its final episode. The show was co-created by Loving creator Agnes Nixon, and Loving's last pair of headwriters, Barbara Esensten and James Harmon Brown.
2008: On Guiding Light, Gus (Ricky Paull Goldin) was brought into Cedars Hospital with a severe head trauma after crashing his motorcycle.
2011: Mark Hapka aired for the final time as Nathan Horton in Days of our Lives.
