Tobin Bell to Guest Star on 'Days of our Lives' as John Black's Father

Saw actor Tobin Bell will be guest-starring on NBC soap opera Days of our Lives in a five-episode arc next month, EW reported on Friday.  The casting had previous been added to IMDb. Beginning March 11, the 73-year-old Bell will play Yo Ling, the long lost father of John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

The storyline marks the culmination of John Black’s search for his father – a war hero who supposedly died in Korea three weeks before his son was born. He took the name Yo Ling.

Bell is best known for his role as Jigsaw, a.k.a. John Kramer, in the Saw movie franchise. His numerous other credits include 24, ER, Seinfeld, Criminal Minds and Wilfred.
