The
Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nomination list of actors didn't include the superb Karla Mosley, who plays Maya Avant on CBS soap opera
The Bold and the Beautiful. The show
was recognized, however, for its groundbreaking transgender storyline with a nomination for the 2016 GLAAD Media Awards in the Outstanding Daily Drama category, announced earlier today.
Storylines featuring gay characters on
Days of our Lives and General Hospital were apparently deemed not worthy of recognition.
