Orson Bean To Guest Star on 'The Bold and the Beautiful'

Orson Bean will guest star on CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful on, Friday, January 8, and Monday, January 11.

The veteran actor tells Soaps In Depth that he had a blast with his scene partner, Scott Clifton (Liam).

"Oh, I love [his character] on the show, and it was great to work with him," says Bean, who plays Liam’s crotchety seatmate on his flight back from Australia. "I fooled around and ad-libbed with him a lot, and I think they left some of it in."

Meanwhile, B&B sent out a casting call in November for "Claire," a recurring role for a, “strong, beautiful woman who is 50-60 — and must be Australian.” Now that Ivy has returned to Australia, could this character be her mother? We'll find out soon.
