'Gilligan's Island' Star Dawn Wells to Appear on 'The Bold and The Beautiful'

Dawn Wells will be guesting on CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in an episode scheduled to air the Friday following Valentine's Day (February 19, 2016). B&B teases that her character, named Alice, is a buyer for Forrester Creations:

"Ridge holds a cocktail party at the house and invites Alice and the company’s other long-time vendors. But first, he takes down the portrait of Maya that’s been hanging on the wall and replaces it with the portrait of Stephanie."

Wells' first job in Hollywood was the film The Interns with Barbara Eden, and she has worked continuously on both screen and stage ever since. She remains best known for one role in particular, however.

"For three seasons I was "stranded" on Gilligan’s Island with the most famous castaways in television history," is how she puts it. "Mary Ann has remained a very important part of, not only my life, but the lives of fans all over the world."
