'The Young and the Restless' Tuesday Preview: No Way Out Of This, Unless He Runs

"I have no knowledge of my son's whereabouts," Victor says in court.
On the Monday, October 19 episode of CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, Victor (Eric Braeden) rehashed the past with Adam (Justin Hartley), including Victor's upbringing in the orphanage. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) were both upset with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) for agreeing to be Adam's attorney. Elsewhere, Noah (Robert Adamson) gave Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) a piece of his mind, and Victor gave Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) strict orders to get Marissa (Sofia Pernas) out of town. Dylan (Steve Burton) brought the ransom cash to the police station, while Lily (Christel Khalil) was determined to believe Cane (Daniel Goddard) was not involved with Hilary's kidnapping. Lauren showed up at Cane's upset about a deal he approved behind her back. Cane denied he made the deal, but Lily overheard him saying he had taken paid time off from Fenmore's. Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan showed up to question Cane, then took him to the GCPD to be charged for extortion. Finally, Adam showed up at Chelsea's (Melissa Claire Egan) and the two of them began to make love.

On Tuesday's Y&R, Billy (Burgess Jenkins) is determined to get justice for Delia on the morning Adam's trial is set to begin, but Victoria (Amelia Heinle) worries he's setting himself up for more heartache. Victoria goes to see Victor to make sure he's not pulling strings to help Adam go free.

"It was dark at night, he didn't see Delia," Victors says in Adam's defense.

Victoria admits she overheard his conversation with Nick the other day, and that it made her feel bad.

"All I ever wanted was your respect," Victoria tells him.

When Lily arrives to bail Cane out of jail, he assumes she believes in his innocence, but she still has suspicions.

"You actually think I did this," Cane says, after realizing Lily has doubts.

At GCAC, Nikki asks Neil (Kristoff St. John) about Hillary's case, and she can't believe it when he tells Cane is involved.

"I'm just as shocked," a guilty Neil tells her. "But you know something, given the right circumstances, we can do things that we never imagined."

Later, Devon (Bryton James) begs Cane to tell him what he knows.

At the courthouse, both Billy and Chelsea arrive with accusations against Victor. Will Adam show up?
