Jesica Ahlberg Joins 'General Hospital' as Darby

Jesica Ahlberg, Miss Alabama USA in 2014, has joined the cast of ABC soap opera General Hospital in the role of Darby. According to Soaps in Depth, she will play the role of Darby, T.J. and Molly's friend.

Ahlberg was born in Selma, Alabama, and attended Auburn University. After graduating, she signed with agencies in Atlanta and Nashville, and immediately started working in the industry. She took almost a year off from acting to focus on her duties as the reigning Miss Alabama USA 2014. After being a semifinalist in Miss USA, she moved to Los Angeles to focus on her acting career.

Her credits include Single Ladies, Necessary Roughness, Banshee, Royal Pains and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

Ahlberg is scheduled to make her GH debut on Monday, October 19.
