PHOTOS: Television Academy's Daytime Programming Peer Group Celebration

On Wednesday, August 26, the Television Academy presented the Daytime Programming Peer Group Celebration, an exclusive cocktail reception honoring the Daytime Community at the Montage Beverly Hills.

  1. I'm always bummed to miss these LA celebrations. It looks like a blast.

    Hope the Emmys can return to NYC someday. Despite the four soaps being shot in LA, quite a few daytime series are still based in the NYC area.

  2. I would mind seeing the creation of something celebrating classic daytime TV, especially soaps with emphasis on the shows that are no longer on the air being held in NYC. Is there a Daytime Drama Hall of Fame? Seems like we still have a number of daytime stalwarts that have yet to be acknowledged (*coughs Kathryn Hays* coughs) and I've given up on the Daytime Emmys ever acknowledging them.
